Lighthouse VCF began as a church plant out of Albany VCF in 1999. Pastor Bob and Sue Potts began the work in Newport in their home before they eventually rented a commercial space on Hurbert Street which the church purchased in September of 2003. What began as a dream, became a seed that has now become a fruitful work in the greater body of Christ.
The ministry here at Lighthouse Vineyard encompasses God's compassion and justice. We focus on equipping the saints to do the works of ministry. We believe that every saint is a minister. As we receive the love of God we endeavor to give it away naturally and supernaturally.
We teach that 'everybody gets to play' in God's kingdom. His desire is for every person to function in the good gifts He generously gives. Young and old, natural or spiritual, our heart is for each person to live the abundant life that comes with being loved by God and loving Him and others in return.
